Efficacy In Vivo with interfering substance

Efficacy tests have been carried out applying the NF T72-281 norm which evaluates the bactericidal, fungicidal, and sporicidal activity with interfering substance for disinfection technologies which deliver a disinfectant solution via aerosol on contaminated target areas. The tests generated results which surpassed  the limits set by the norm.

The assessment of the bacterial/fungicidal/sporicidal activity according to the criteria of acceptance of the norms of reference: USP2007-Chapter -1072- page 3792-3795 (United States Pharmacopeial Convention) was also executed. The assessment demonstrated that the 99 system exceeded in efficacy the limits set by the above mentioned norms of reference.

In Vitro Testing

In vitro tests were conducted according to the UNI EN model (code).

Tested norms:

The solution was tested for basic bactericidal activity, for bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics, for bactericidal and/or fungicidal activity of chemical disinfectant on non-porous surfaces, for basic fungicidal activity, for basic fungicidal or basic yeasticidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics, for sporicidal activity, and for virucidal activity.

In each case the microorganisms indicated by the relative norms were tested. In addition, other microorganisms of clinical relevance were also tested.
